Transit Innovation Partnership

Launched in 2018, the Transit Innovation Partnership is a public-private initiative of the MTA and the Partnership for New York City with the mission to make New York the global leader in public transit.

The Transit Innovation Partnership leverages three primary vehicles to achieve program objectives:

A pathway for early and growth-stage companies to efficiently collaborate with regional transit agencies to achieve critical objectives.

Applying the expertise and resources of the Partnership for New York City and the wider New York City innovation community to pro-bono projects that support public transit objectives.

Guide policy and legislative priorities that support the regional public transit system.
